Beautiful view

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The view of the square was unbelievably amazing. We were right in the center of everything. Mr. Acanfora was very helpful with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay.
An excellent location to enjoy and access the Amalfi Coast
Marilyn S.
Mario was a perfect host and the apartment was a great size for two couples . The apartment is in an excellent location. We took several day trips and hikes along the Amalfi Coast as well as a day trip to Naples and the public transportation was extremely easy to access from the apartment. We were able to watch the procession and celebration of St Anthony Abate from our apartment balconies as well as a 30 minute fireworks display on the first Sunday of May. Wonderful stay in Sorrento. Thank you Mario for your kind hospitality and please do thank Natalia for taking such good care of the apartment during our stay.

Huge flat in the center of Sorrento

This flat was amazing. We had the best time. Huge bedrooms and fantastic outside patio area.
Thank you very much. Mario Acanfora
Wonderful Wonderful Sorrento!
We stayed at Mario’s apartment in June 2016. It was a vacation stay for me, my wife and two daughters. This place was awesome!!
First, let’s talk about our host, Mario. He was very easy to communicate with, before, during and after the stay. He was at the apartment when we arrived and gave us lot’s of very knowledgeable local information that really helped. His recommendation of a restaurant called Delfino was incredible! Grazie!!
I had somewhat of a dental emergency while I stayed in Sorrento and Mario called the dentist, made an appointment (same day) and texted me the details! he was awesome.
The apartment is HUGE even by US standards. Three bedrooms that all have an ocean view (not ocean front) and a view of the main square in town.
One small downside is after a 5 minute walk to the apartment from the train station, there are quite a few steps to get into the apartment, minor, but worth mentioning if you struggle with steps/stairs.
The kitchen has a gas stove with 5 burners – almost commercial grade. There is a big fridge. The kitchen itself is pretty basic BUT functional. We ate eggs each morning and the stove worked great. Oh yes there is a supermarket 100 yards from the entrance.
The weather was HOT while we were in Italy. Just a heads up that because it was HOT and apartments don’t have A/C it was hot in the apartment. Mario supplied a portable a/c unit that was fabulous!
The beds were really comfy and BIG!
This place is the real deal! It is like spending time with a family – cleaner comes in daily! SOOOO Good!
Arrivederci Sorrento!
Grazie. Thank you very much. You made everything very easy. Mario

Large and Very Original Italian Apartment
Gerda M.
The location of the apartment could not be better. Everything worth seeing in Sorrento and the 2 marinas were in easy walking distance from the apartment. The apartment itself had nice features. All the balconies looked out over the main square and the Gulf of Sorrento. In the back there was a large deck, very quiet and private. All bedrooms were very large and had comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped but no dishwasher, but did have a washing machine. But who needs to cook with all the good restaurants in Sorrento. The apartment looked much better in reality than in the pictures. Dealing with the rental agent, Mario Acanfora, was excellent. He arranged a pickup from Naples Airport for us. He was very quick to respond to any enquiries we had beforehand. All in all, our stay was beyond expectations and we can certainly recommend this apartment.
Perfect location

Exactly what we wanted in the perfect location!
Thank you very much. Saluti, Mario
Good location but needs to be renovated
Jens V.
The location is perfect, however the steps to be taken have to be considered whne you travel with a baby, like we did…. Mario is very kind and gives help with a lot of things. Wifi could be a better network…. But overall we had a very nice stay in this typical classical cityappartment with very nice and quiet terrace at the back of the appartment.
A very spacious apartment in an ideal location
Andrew J.
We very much enjoyed our stay in Apartment Melany.
The apartment is ideally situated, in the central square, a short walk to trains and buses and close to the port for ferries. Restaurants and food shops are literally on the doorstep. Large windows with tiny balconies look out onto the square for watching the passageata. The one downside of the location, as for most town centres, was that it was noisy, occasionally disturbing our sleep in the early hours of the morning. Church bells ring at 07.00 and 08.00.
The apartment is very spacious and airy with comfortable beds and a good dining room overlooking Piazza Tasso. There’s a good sized south facing terrace area at the back, with four comfortable chairs and a table and chairs for eating outside. It was pleasantly tranquil, but we didn’t make much use of it due to lack of shade. There were only two sunbeds.
The apartment was somewhat under equipped. The only worktop in the kitchen was extremely small and there was no kitchen knife nor means of lighting the gas hob (we bought these and left them there). The coffee maker was inadequate. There was nowhere for six people to sit together in comfortable chairs. Not all bedrooms had a mirror. Fans would have been useful. There was an iron but no ironing board.
It seemed unreasonable to be expected to pay for cleaning and fresh bed linen and towels half way through a two week stay.
The agent, Mario Acanfora, has excellent English and was very welcoming and helpful. He fixed a couple of minor problems willingly and quickly. He also made some very good recommendations for restaurants.
