Mario was a very wonderful host, explaining places to eat, see, and get groceries. Apartment is clean and feels spacious. Patio is lovely. You can easily walk to city center and all the little shops. Mario also helped to arrange transportation to and frm naples as well as a tour of Pompeii . Loved our stay!

We drove from Rome in a rental car and had difficulty finding the apartment, our GPS seemed to have the incorrect location. Our Jeep Renegade was too large for the parking. The description of the parking must mean square meters, although the listing suggests maximum 4 meters in length. Mario assisted us by meeting us when we found a place we could describe to him and safely wait and leading us on his motorcycle to the apartment. He asked if we had reserved parking, which we had not done, and led us to a garage where we were able to leave the car. We did not use the car in Sorrento. So if you are driving to the apartment, be sure to get exact directions from Mario and arrange for parking in advance.

Other than our initial car issues, all went well. The apartment is on the ground floor and is quiet and has all the basics. We easily made breakfast for four each morning. We trained to Naples and ferried back to visit the Museo, easy. Hired a driver to take us to Amalfi Coast, where we did not want to drive. Walked Sorrento. Easy to walk to supermarket and many smaller markets nearby to gather breakfast and snacks.

We have just spent 6 nights in this flat which is in a great location to see beautiful Sorrento and the surrounding area. Mario arranged for a driver to meet us at the Naples train station and was at the flat to greet us when we arrived. He gave us some tips on where to eat at some wonderful restaurants and for seeing the sites. The flat was very clean and well equipped with everything our family of four required to make our stay enjoyable. The outdoor patio was a real bonus to enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails later in the day after being out exploring the sites. We used the same tour company that had transported us from the train, Sorrento Ironman Travel, to take us on a day trip to see the Amalfi coast, which was a highlight of our trip. Mario was very helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this flat and would definitely stay here again.

This villa is up to date on everything you could want on a vacation. Mario maintains a beautiful property. Everything is always clean and not one thing in the house is broken or out of order. We had a minor issue occur, and within an hour Mario had rectified the situation. He lives locally and is there if you need him. Never having traveled to Sorrento, I was nervous the location wasn’t going to be what I was looking for, but it was exactly what we needed and wanted. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the center of Sorrento, and is situated just far enough from the center that you get peace and quiet at night when trying to sleep.

Mario himself is as professional as you would want a property owner to be. Since he lives nearby, he knows all the right spots for dinner, and even told us about a little secret swimming area in Sorrento that locals use that is absolutely gorgeous. I won’t spill his secret, you will have to book this villa with him to find out what I am talking about. It is around a 30 minute walk from the villa, but worth every step – simply incredible.

Thank you Mario for making our stay as enjoyable as it was. This vacation was my all time favorite. I plan on coming back to Sorrento soon!!

We just spent one week at Mario’s flat. Everything was above expectation. Mario was very helpful and always available. We could walk everywhere as we were centrally located but the flat was very quiet. I would highly recommend this rental.

Great location and Mario. the proprietor was really helpful. He organised a private taxi from the airport at a much cheaper rate than the ones I found on the internet and Pepe, our driver, was a courteous and considerate driver with lots of really helpful information about how to make the most ouf our stay in Sorrento. The apartment was perfect for our family for 5. The floor tiles were a little chilly (even though the heating us very good) so slippers recommended if like us you come in mid February (when it is blissfully quiet but still with enough going on) but I’m sure will be perfect when the weather gets hotter. The property was very clean and well equipped with plenty storage. (The only thing we would have liked was some soap in the bathroom). The location is just a few minutes walk from the centre of old Sorrento and the train station for Naples and Pompei. There’s an excellent restaurant just 2 minutes from the apartment and a fantastic pizzeria nearby too. There’s a car hire company nearby as well.

Even before we arrived Mario was very responsive and helpful to all my emails. He was clear about meeting us at the Sorrento train station the day of our arrival. We took the Marozzi bus from Rome that was supposed to arrive at 11 am but of course it was delayed. I missed a call from him but when we finally arrived in Sorrento I called him and he promptly picked up and was there to meet us in less than 5 minutes. There was an unfortunate electrical incident at the condo we originally booked that happened the night before so Mario had made arrangements for us to stay at a similar condo. He gave us an option to move back to the one we originally booked once the issue was fixed. He helped us with our luggage and got us into a cab and he made sure the cab driver showed us where the main points in town that we need to know and he met us back again at the condo to show us the place.

Everything was great! The place was really clean and spacious and well stocked. AC, wi-fi and hot water all worked well. Location was perfect. Mario and his colleagues were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I’ve never experienced that kind of customer service from an AirBnB/VRBO owner/host before. They were also great about storing our luggage after we checked out. The only thing was the bed in one of the rooms is a little hard for my liking but I still slept pretty well. Highly recommend them!

We are staying in this property at the moment and can happily recommend it. The fittings are modern and functional, everything is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location is excellent as you are within easy walking distance of the train station which gets you to both Pompeii and Herculaneum and also the town and port which gets you to Capri in 20 minutes. Mario, the owner, is extremely helpful and although we were more than happy with the accommodation, I am sure he would sort out any difficulty you may have. All in all, a great visit.
